3-Rail Wood Fence with Wire Backing – Classic Country Style
This customer wanted a true country look while still keeping his dogs safely contained. We installed a traditional 3-rail wood fence to create that timeless farm-style appearance, then added wire backing to the inside for secure containment.
The wood rails provide the open, rustic aesthetic that fits perfectly with the wooded setting and outbuildings, while the woven wire ensures smaller animals stay safely inside the enclosure. It’s a great solution for homeowners who want both style and function without sacrificing either.
Simple. Strong. Country charm with practical protection.

Half-Mile Farm Fence Installation – Built for Animals, Built to Last
This repeat customer recently moved from their previous farm and trusted us once again to fence their new property. We installed approximately half a mile of fencing designed to safely contain their horses, dogs, goats, and chickens.
For the front of the property, we used treated wood posts to create a clean, traditional farm aesthetic that complements the home and entryway. Behind the house and along the outer perimeter, we installed long-lasting galvanized steel posts for added durability and reduced maintenance over time. The woven wire was properly stretched and braced to ensure strength across long runs and changing terrain.
This project combines function and appearance — strong agricultural fencing where it counts, and classic curb appeal out front. We’re proud to continue building lasting relationships with customers who trust us with their farms again and again.

Chain Link Installation Over Existing Concrete Drive
This customer is building fencing in the backyard for their dog and a future horse paddock, but asked for our expertise when it came to installing chain link across the existing concrete driveway.
To make it work properly, we core drilled clean holes directly through the concrete and set the posts in place, pounding them to proper depth for strength and stability. This allows the fence line to continue seamlessly across the driveway without weak surface-mounted brackets or shortcuts.
Having the right equipment and experience makes all the difference on projects like this. With the proper tools in-house, we’re able to complete specialized installs efficiently while ensuring the finished product is solid, straight, and built to last.

4-Foot White Vinyl Picket Fence – Smart Upgrade, Built to Last
The homeowner chose to remove the existing wooden white picket fence himself to help keep the project budget-friendly. Once the old fence was cleared out, we stepped in to install a brand-new 4-foot white vinyl picket system that delivers the same classic charm — without the ongoing maintenance of wood.
We installed this fence using our no-dig 2 3/8” galvanized steel post system for added strength and long-term stability. Gravel was brought in to properly backfill each post location, creating a solid foundation and ensuring the fence performs well for years to come.
This project also included a double drive gate at the front and a single walk gate along the side of the house for convenient access. The finished result maintains the timeless curb appeal of a traditional picket fence — but with modern durability and a stronger structural backbone behind it.

Black High Tensile Woven Wire
Orchard Protection Fence
This project was designed to protect a young orchard while maintaining a clean, attractive look from the home’s back deck.
We installed black high tensile woven wire paired with black posts to create a fence that blends into the landscape rather than standing out. The darker finish keeps the focus on the trees and open property while still providing the strength needed to protect the orchard from deer and wildlife pressure.
Proper bracing and tight tensioning ensure the woven wire stays secure and performs long term. The result is a fence that is both functional and visually subtle — strong enough for protection, refined enough for a beautiful residential setting.
Practical protection. Clean presentation. Built to last.

Agricultural Woven Wire Fence – Rance Bracing System
This showcase highlights a cattle containment fence built with 12.5-gauge high tensile woven wire, designed for strength, longevity, and livestock pressure.
On this project, we installed a combination of classic H-braces and a modified rance brace system to properly anchor long fence runs and handle tension loads. Proper bracing is critical with high tensile wire — without it, the fence won’t perform. These reinforced end and corner assemblies ensure the fence stays tight and structurally sound for years to come.
The layout required us to curve around the customer’s orchard and garden areas, maintaining smooth, flowing lines while preserving access and protecting valuable plantings. Agricultural fencing isn’t just about straight lines — it’s about adapting to the land while keeping strength consistent throughout the system.
This is a repeat customer, and we’ve built all the fencing on his property — including the garden fence in the back. We appreciate families like this who trust us with their land year after year.
Built tight. Built strong. Built for livestock.

Another King+ privacy build in downtown Lapeer.
This one came with its challenges. The fence line ran directly alongside a cement knee wall and had to be installed flush between two buildings, leaving very little room to work.
Using the King+ method, we drove 2⅜” steel posts for a solid foundation and built the cedar privacy panels accordingly. The driven post system allowed us to install cleanly and securely in tight quarters without compromising strength or appearance.
We also incorporated a fully concealed removable panel, secured with screws, in case the homeowner ever needs to move furniture in or out through the back basement door. It’s completely hidden — you’d never know it’s there — but incredibly practical when needed.

A timeless look built the right way.
This 6-foot cedar privacy fence was constructed using our King+ method — heavy-duty framing, reinforced gate structure, and hardware designed for long-term performance.

Custom Feedlot / Pig Pen Installation
This customer wanted a dedicated space to raise piglets — a functional feedlot built to contain livestock securely and withstand rooting behavior.
We built the enclosure in all black for a clean, cohesive look. Black steel posts, hog panels painted black, and a matching black gate to tie everything together.
To address rooting — a common issue with pigs — we installed a solar energizer and ran a hot wire a few inches off the ground along the fence line. This helps prevent digging and protects the integrity of the enclosure.
Practical design. Durable materials. Built to work.

Privacy in the Front. Open View in the Back.
This homeowner wanted full privacy along the front and side of the property, while keeping the rear yard open to the natural surroundings.
For the front and side, we installed white vinyl privacy fencing using our no-dig system with 2⅜” galvanized pipe for long-term strength and stability. Clean, solid, and built to last.
Along the back property line — where the yard meets nature — we installed a classic three-rail black aluminum fence using our Eye Post no-dig system. This keeps the space secure while preserving the view and blending seamlessly into the landscape.
The result is a fence layout that delivers privacy where it’s needed and openness where it matters — and it all ties together cleanly.

Expanding the Backyard Layout
This homeowner wanted the side garage door included inside the fenced-in backyard.
We removed the front section of the existing fence and brought the fence line out past the garage door to fully enclose the space. The layout required some careful planning to make everything flow properly and function well long term.
We installed three gates — a double drive setup for future vehicle access and a separate walk gate for everyday use along the sidewalk. This gives the homeowner flexibility now and options for the future.
Now the side entry is enclosed, the backyard feels larger, and access is both secure and convenient.
Sometimes it’s not about starting over — it’s about reworking the layout to better match how the space will actually be used.

This homeowner in Troy wasn’t looking to fully enclose their yard — they simply wanted privacy in a specific area while maintaining a clean, modern appearance.
We installed a custom horizontal wood privacy fence section to create separation without overwhelming the space. The horizontal layout gives it a sharp, contemporary look while still delivering the privacy they were after.

A Safe, Beautiful Backyard Built to Last
This homeowner wanted a fully enclosed backyard where their dogs and grandkids could play safely and freely.
Traditional chain link for this size perimeter would have been incredibly expensive, so we designed a smarter solution — a black woven wire agricultural fence along the perimeter. It delivers strength, visibility, and cost efficiency while blending naturally into the landscape.
Along the road frontage, we installed a 6-foot cedar privacy fence for security and curb appeal. The aluminum gates were built using our King+ method, providing strength, longevity, and a clean finished look.
One of the standout features of this project is the condition of the yard after installation. Look at the grass and undisturbed ground — that’s the beauty of pounded posts. No large excavations, minimal disruption, and a clean, tight finish.
We’re the kind of company that can build agricultural fencing, privacy fencing, and seamlessly tie the two together into one cohesive design.
This one was a joy to build.

Lapeer County Animal Control
Outdoor Kennel Expansion
Lapeer County Animal Control – Outdoor Kennel Expansion
Lapeer County Animal Control needed to expand their outdoor kennel space to create a safer, more functional environment for the dogs — especially during the adoption process.
They provided a general print, and we worked closely with them to modify the layout for maximum efficiency and long-term durability. The project included a 6-foot commercial-grade, 9-gauge galvanized chain-link fence designed to withstand heavy use and provide secure containment for years to come.
In addition to the new expansion area, we made several modifications to the existing outdoor runs to improve layout, accessibility, and overall functionality.
To enhance privacy and security, we installed a 6-foot cedar privacy fence along the exterior perimeter. This created a clean, finished appearance while helping provide a calmer, more contained environment for the animals.
Originally, the center concrete pad was not included in the plans. We strongly recommended completing that step first to ensure proper layout and alignment. By coordinating that work carefully, the entire space was ready for immediate use the same day we completed the installation — allowing the dogs to safely utilize the new area without delay.
The result is a secure, spacious kennel area that gives the dogs ample room to run, exercise, and safely interact with potential adopters.

Cedar Fence Repair – Salvaged and Reinforced
This homeowner wanted to salvage his existing cedar fence. The pickets were still in great shape, but the original wood posts had rotted off at ground level, causing the entire section to lean.
Instead of recommending a full replacement, we took an unconventional approach to save the fence and keep costs down. We installed a temporary strut to carefully push the fence line back into position. Then, using a PostMaster system in reverse, we drove galvanized steel posts directly into the ground and secured the existing fence to the new metal supports.
The result? A straightened, reinforced fence without tearing everything out and starting over. It was a very cost-effective solution, and the homeowner was extremely pleased with the outcome.
We love making happy customers — and we love thinking outside the box to make it happen.

Cedar Privacy Fence – Safe Space to Grow
This project was all about privacy and safety — creating a secure backyard space for a little one to play freely. We installed a beautiful cedar privacy fence using our King+ method for long-term strength and durability.
The King+ system includes a 2 3/8” galvanized steel post driven four feet into the ground for superior stability, with no rock used. By pounding posts directly into undisturbed soil, we eliminate the need for large excavated holes — meaning no piles of dirt, no mud, and no mess left behind.
Just look at that grass — green, clean, and untouched. That’s the advantage of a true King+ No-Dig install. Strong below ground. Clean above ground.
Built for privacy. Built for safety. Built to last.

Cedar Privacy Fence – King + Method
This homeowner wanted to restore privacy to his backyard after his previous fence had fallen over. Rather than removing everything, we installed a new cedar privacy fence using our King Plus method — designed for long-term strength and stability.
The King Plus system includes a 2 3/8” galvanized steel post driven four feet into the ground for superior support. No rock is used. By pounding the posts deep into undisturbed soil, we achieve solid compaction and long-term performance, helping prevent the shifting and leaning that often causes fences to fail.
The result is a clean, straight fence line with the natural beauty of cedar and the hidden strength of steel inside. The install was completed efficiently in one day, and the customer was so happy with the outcome that we were later hired to complete a fence for his neighbor across the street. Built straight. Built strong. Built to last.
We were hired by the general contractor to construct a secure driveway barricade system to protect a newly sealed structural deck. Beneath the surface was critical waterproofing infrastructure and high-value mechanical equipment, making protection from heavy equipment traffic absolutely essential.
This project required precise coordination and phased installation. We measured and fabricated custom gate systems designed specifically for the opening. Posts were set in advance, and after the concrete work was completed, we returned to properly hang and finish the gates to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability.
The result is a clean, professional barricade system that prevents unauthorized vehicle access while protecting vital infrastructure below. Projects like this are especially rewarding — serving high-importance commercial locations where accuracy, timing, and reliability truly matter.

Custom Farm Fencing – Paddock, Arena & Goat Pen
This one had a deadline that couldn’t move — a foal was on the way. The customer needed a dry paddock ready, a secure goat pen built, and posts set for her riding arena so she could hang her own boards. Timing mattered, and so did durability.
We installed treated southern yellow pine wood posts, stretched woven wire tight, and set solid gate systems designed for livestock use. The ground conditions weren’t ideal — rain days, mud, and soft soil — but farm projects don’t wait for perfect weather. We worked through the conditions and kept the layout accurate so everything tied together properly.
The end result is a practical, hard-working setup built for real farm life. Safe enclosures, clean gate access, and a layout designed to handle animals day in and day out. Built strong, built straight, and ready for the next chapter on the farm.

5’ Ameristar Steel Fence Installation
This project involved installing a 5-foot Ameristar steel fence for a homeowner with active herding dogs. She wanted something stronger and more rigid than aluminum — a system that could confidently handle high-energy movement day after day. After reviewing options, we installed a steel ornamental fence that delivered the strength and durability she was looking for.
The homeowner was also very specific about the look. She wanted a true spear-top design for a classic ornamental appearance. It took some extra coordination and phone calls, but we sourced the exact style she wanted and had it shipped directly from the manufacturer to ensure it met her expectations.
The finished fence defines the yard with clean lines and long-lasting performance. Strong, secure, and tailored to the customer’s vision — built solid and built to last.

Black 4’ Chain-Link
Built in the Heart of Winter ❄️
This entire chain-link fence was installed in the middle of winter — snow on the ground and frozen conditions throughout the project.
Because we drive (pound) our posts instead of setting them in traditional concrete footings, frost heave is not an issue and does not affect the integrity of the install or the final product. Driven posts create both lateral compaction (tight soil pressure around the post) and vertical compaction (solid resistance below the post), resulting in superior stability.
No oversized concrete holes.
No loose backfill.
No waiting for warmer weather.
Just solid, mechanically compacted posts built to perform in all seasons.
Winter installs are not a shortcut — when done correctly, they’re just as strong (if not stronger) than summer installs.
Built right. Built tight. Built to last.

Vinyl Dumpster Enclosure Gate Repair
This vinyl dumpster enclosure had sustained significant damage and required repair. The property owner requested the most cost-effective solution possible while restoring full functionality and maintaining a clean appearance.
Rather than recommending a full replacement, we evaluated the existing structure and preserved the viable substrate. We replaced and reinforced the damaged sections as needed, carefully matching materials to maintain a consistent look and structural integrity.

Commercial Gate Rehabilitation & Cloud-Based Access Control
Storage Facility
This storage facility was experiencing structural failure in its existing fence and gate system. Multiple posts had shifted and were beginning to lean, compromising both security and daily operation.
We removed and reset the failing gate and fence posts, restoring proper alignment and structural integrity to the entry system. Instead of recommending full replacement, we evaluated the existing sliding gate and successfully salvaged and reinstalled it — delivering a cost-effective solution without sacrificing performance.
To bring the facility up to modern standards, we integrated a DoorKing access control system paired with cloud-based storage management software. The owner can now remotely program and remove tenant access codes, manage entry permissions, and monitor gate usage — all from a centralized system.
The result:
• Structurally sound gate infrastructure
• Rehabilitated existing assets
• Modernized, cloud-managed tenant access
• Improved long-term reliability and security

Winter Chain-Link Installation
Steep Grade not a problem!
This homeowner had temporary fencing in place to keep their dog contained, but they were ready for a permanent solution.
The backyard featured a steep hill grade, requiring careful layout and installation to ensure proper tension and long-term stability. We installed a chain-link fence that butted up to the neighbor’s existing privacy fence, creating four full sides of secure enclosure.
The project was completed during winter conditions using our driven post method. Posts were pounded into the ground for strength and stability without waiting on concrete to cure — allowing the job to move forward efficiently despite the cold weather.
While we were on-site, the customer also asked us to take a look at an existing gate on their older fence. We were able to make a small adjustment and get it back into proper working order, restoring full functionality before we left.
The result is a clean, secure perimeter that follows the grade properly and provides dependable containment year-round — along with an older fence brought back to life.
From temporary fixes to permanent solutions — built right the first time.

10-Acre Rotational Grazing System for Fat Tail Sheep
Sharing a few tricks from our bag with new sheep owner....
For this project, we designed and installed a custom 10-acre paddock system tailored specifically for managing fat tail sheep.
The layout included two large grazing pastures, a smaller control pasture, and a dedicated holding pen designed for easy movement during shearing and routine handling. Every gate placement and fence line was planned with herd flow and livestock behavior in mind.
In this video, we’re walking the new owner through how to properly move and control the flock for the first time — using the fencing system as it was designed. Because we also raise sheep ourselves, we understand firsthand how herd animals think and move. We shared practical handling techniques and simple positioning tricks that make guiding livestock safer, smoother, and far less stressful for both animals and owner.

Custom Gate Modification for Slope & Equipment Access
At TMF, we don’t just install fences — we solve problems.
This homeowner needed their landscaper to easily access the backyard through the existing chain link gates. Over time, the double gates had begun to sag, and due to the yard’s slope, they were no longer functioning properly. Opening and closing them had become difficult — especially for someone bringing equipment in and out regularly.
Instead of recommending a full replacement, TMF developed a practical, original solution.
We modified the existing gate system and adjusted the post configuration to correct the sagging and improve clearance over the slope. By reinforcing and slightly reworking the structure, we restored smooth operation while maintaining secure containment for the family dog.
The result:
✔ The landscaper can move equipment through easily
✔ The gates operate properly again
✔ The dog remains safely contained
✔ The homeowner avoided unnecessary replacement costs

Custom Cedar Cap & Trim Privacy Fence
Steel Post System & Aluminum-Framed Gat
This custom cedar cap and trim privacy fence was built for long-term strength — not just appearance. Instead of traditional wood posts set in concrete, we drove galvanized steel PostMaster® posts deep into the ground to create a reinforced structural backbone that won’t rot, twist, or shift over time.
The steel posts are hidden within the fence line, maintaining a clean all-wood appearance while dramatically increasing durability and wind resistance.
The cap and trim design protects the top edge of each picket from water intrusion, helping extend the life of the cedar and maintain a straight, uniform finish across the entire run.
The matching gate was constructed using a powder-coated aluminum frame wrapped in cedar pickets. This prevents sagging — one of the most common failures in wood gates — and ensures smooth, reliable operation for years to come. Heavy-duty decorative hardware completes the look while maintaining structural integrity.
This system combines the natural beauty of cedar with the strength of steel and aluminum — delivering a privacy fence built to outperform traditional wood construction.

Ornamental Aluminum Fence Installation with I-Post System (No Concrete)
This black ornamental aluminum fence was installed using our heavy-duty driven I-post system — eliminating the need for traditional concrete footings. By driving galvanized steel I-posts deep into the ground, we create a solid, long-lasting foundation without the risk of frost heave that commonly affects concrete-set posts in Michigan winters.
The fence line was carefully aligned to follow the natural grade of the property, maintaining a clean, level appearance across the slope. This method not only improves long-term stability but also allows for faster, cleaner installation with minimal ground disruption.
The result is a secure, low-maintenance perimeter fence that will remain straight, stable, and functional for years to come — even through harsh freeze-thaw cycles.
